2023 SUMMER INTENSIVE Jun 12 – Jul 8, 2023

Ballet, Pointe, Variation, Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theater and more!

Ensemble dance training is based on a broad spectrum of movement rooted in classical training outlined for optimum advancement. Classes are offered both in studio and on-line interactively. Dancers train a minimum of 2-4 days per week with a conservatory style curriculum featuring a daily Ballet/Pointe class and at least one of the following: Variation, Jazz/Hip Hop, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theater. (age and ability appropriate). Dancers new to the program, (age 7 and older), with be evaluated for proper and most beneficial program placement. Faculty is diverse, rotational, and includes featured guest artists.

Imagine Youth Theater is a workshop based musical theater program offering several performance workshops per season, and a 3-week Summer Stock workshop. Casting auditions are held prior to the workshops which typically meet twice a week. (All who audition will be cast.) Students study acting, singing, blocking, and choreography specific to the production.

The program offers two divisions:

Imagine Youth Theater offers workshops for grades 8-12, One Acts workshops, and Summer Stock (*Age 18 and under, recent graduates welcome)

Imagine Youth Theater Jr offers workshops for grades 3 and up and Summer Stock.

These classes meet one day per week, and registration is accepted year-round but early registration is encouraged for optimal schedule choices. Each season concludes with a special production themed especially for the Studio dance program members. A 4-week summer session is also offered.
