Does your heart skip a beat when the music starts?
When you hear the “groove”, do you want to grab your partner and “swing”, or sway “cheek to cheek” to the sounds of Sinatra, or try out your ballroom steps when you hear the sultry sounds of the tango and salsa?
Or, does the electric blend of blues, funk and jazz found in Prince’s creations, move your soul?
Then don’t miss Gary Taylor’s iconic “Romancing the Dance”.

SPRING PERFORMANCE 2020 – THROUGH THE WIRE
At Gary Taylor Dance, our work has always been the marriage of technology to movement.
The 2020 Spring Performance season brought forth unprecedented challenges which required unique solutions.
On March 16, 2020, Gary Taylor Dance was required to “Shelter in the Studios” and converted to an on-line interactive teaching, rehearsal, and performance format all while awaiting our return to the studio. With the “New Norm” came challenges and adaptation and the commitment to this year’s performance, “THROUGH THE WIRE, The Film”.

Committed to the mission, and in compliance with the NC Governor’s Covid 19 Directives, Ensemble Dancers created the film “THROUGH THE WIRE” where students where given the experience of learning choreography and performing through virtual formats while being “Sheltered In”, adding to their dance experience and training.
