PK DanceA one-hour class that meets once a week featuring ballet, tap, creative movement and tumbling tailored to young attention spans and motor skill development.

Registration:  50/Tuition:  $75 per month/Production Fee:  $225

ATTIRE

Young ladies:  Leotard, any color, & pink tights, hair off face. Shoes:  Pink ballet shoes & black ribbon tie tap shoes.

Young men:  Black jazz pants, white shirt, white socks, Shoes:  Black ballet shoes, black tap shoes.

Each camp day will consist of dance/creative movement class, with music and movement to correlate with the theme of the week, snack/movie time, craft/coloring time, and games, which are all movement based and incorporate the steps and movement covered in the dance class.  Costumes are greatly encouraged (so long as campers can move comfortably.)

Jacqueline (Jacky) Hauser Draughn, Camp Director

Jacky received full time ballet training from North Carolina School of the Arts and North Carolina Dance Theatre, (now Charlotte Ballet).  She also studied jazz, tap, contemporary, African dance, character dance, ballroom and musical theatre dance. Jacky as taught at the School of Greensboro Ballet and performed professionally with Greensboro Ballet for eight years.  She performs professionally with Winston-Salem Festival Ballet.
