SPRING PERFORMANCE 2020 – THROUGH THE WIRE

At Gary Taylor Dance, our work has always been the marriage of technology to movement.
The 2020 Spring Performance season brought forth unprecedented challenges which required unique solutions.

On March 16, 2020, Gary Taylor Dance was required to “Shelter in the Studios” and converted to an on-line interactive teaching, rehearsal, and performance format all while awaiting our return to the studio. With the “New Norm” came challenges and adaptation and the commitment to this year’s performance, “THROUGH THE WIRE, The Film”.

Committed to the mission, and in compliance with the NC Governor’s Covid 19 Directives, Ensemble Dancers created the film “THROUGH THE WIRE” where students where given the experience of learning choreography and performing through virtual formats while being “Sheltered In”, adding to their dance experience and training.
