This should be a piece that you feel confident and comfortable performing. Make sure your chosen excerpt captivates the essence of the character you envision yourself portraying.
There is no wifi available, so be sure to download whatever backing track you’d like to use; we will have the appropriate adaptors for your phone, tablet, or computer. Please no acapella singing.
If you have any questions about whether your selection is appropriate, please email our music director, Lindsey Allen.
Actors will be asked to sing through a few warm-ups as well.
FIRST TIME AUDITIONING?
Don’t worry or let that stand in your way!
Don’t think you can sing? Sing “Happy Birthday.”
Don’t think you can act? Tell us something interesting about yourself in 30 seconds.
Don’t think you can dance? No worries, most of the kids auditioning aren’t “dancers.” Have fun and show us you can move.
You CAN do it! – and remember, everyone is cast!
