CHARACTERS
ELSA
Future Queen of Arendelle and Anna’s older sister; born with magical powers, isolates herself from others out of fear.
ANNA
Princess of Arendelle and Elsa’s younger sister; an eternal optimist who longs to be loved and to connect with other people.
KRISTOFF
Hardworking ice harvester with a prickly exterior that hides a big heart.
HANS
Prince of the Southern Isles and youngest of thirteen brothers; charming and ambitious.
OLAF
Magical snowman with a childlike innocence.
SVEN
Kristoff’s fiercely loyal reindeer best friend.
OAKEN
Amiable salesperson and relentless advocate of hygge; cheerful and jolly.
WESELTON
Duke from a neighboring kingdom; chauvinistic, impolite, and judgmental.
YOUNG ANNA
Younger princess of Arendelle with youthful exuberance; fun-loving troublemaker; mesmerized by her sister’s magic.
YOUNG ELSA
Elder princess of Arendelle with magical powers; obedient daughter; protective sister.
QUEEN ARENDELLE
Queen of Arendelle and child of the Northhuldra; strong and compassionate mother.
KINGAGNARR
King of Arendelle; warm-hearted and protective father.
PABBIE
Mystical shaman and patriarch of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s wise adoptive father.
BULDA
Spiritual matriarch of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s nurturing and vibrant adoptive mother.
ENSEMBLE

AUDITION PREPARATION
Prior to the audition:

ARRIVE PROMPTLY on the day of your audition and plan to be present throughout the audition time frame.
ACTING – READ
The Director will have scripts excerpts for you at the audition and you will be doing a cold read from the show.
CHOREOGRAPHY – DANCE
Please come prepared to move and have fun. If you have jazz shoes, wear them, otherwise socks or sneakers are acceptable.
VOCAL
Prepare One Minute of Music: Select a one-minute excerpt from a musical theatre song that best highlights your vocal range, acting skills, and unique personality. This should be a piece that you feel confident and comfortable performing. Make sure your chosen excerpt captivates the essence of the character you envision yourself portraying.
There is no wifi available, so be sure to download whatever backing track you’d like to use; we will have the appropriate adaptors for your phone, tablet, or computer. Please no acapella singing.

Actors will be asked to sing through a few warm-ups as well.
FIRST TIME AUDITIONING?
Don’t worry or let that stand in your way!
Don’t think you can sing? Sing “Happy Birthday.”
Don’t think you can act? Tell us something interesting about yourself in 30 seconds.
Don’t think you can dance? No worries, most of the kids auditioning aren’t “dancers.” Have fun and show us you can move.
You CAN do it! – and remember, everyone is cast!
