Please note, only those who have taken care of their payment or have had other

AUDITION PREPARATION
PRIOR TO THE AUDITION:
Actors auditioning for THE LIGHTNING THIEF, The Percy Jackson Musical, Theatre for Young Audiences (Just 5 easy steps!)
- SIGN UP for a slot on either Tuesday, Mar 5, 4:30-6:90pm or Thursday, Mar 7, 4:30-6:00pm. Call backs as needed. (Video auditions possible by request. Annotate in “Comments” in Form Below. )

- READ (Audition package forthcoming)
ARRIVE PROMPTLY for your audition time. Please wear or bring clothes and shoes in which you can dance. You will be singing first, then acting, and finishing with the dance audition. Be prepared to stay for the full audition time.
ACTING – READ
The Director will provide scene excerpts as you will be doing a cold read from the show.
VOCAL – SING
Prepare One Minute of Music: Select a one-minute excerpt from a musical theatre song that best highlights your vocal range, acting skills, and unique personality. This should be a piece that you feel confident and comfortable performing. Make sure your chosen excerpt captivates the essence of the character you envision yourself portraying.
There is no wifi available, so be sure to download whatever backing track you’d like to use; we will have the appropriate adaptors for your phone, tablet, or computer. Please no acapella singing.

Actors will be asked to sing through a few warm-ups as well.
